"So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star?" is not just an audition workshop. It IS the audition for our 2026 NPT Holiday Show on December 19! (The Holiday show is performed at Stratford High School's theatre.) And instead of walking into a room, singing your song, saying "thank you," and wondering what everyone thought…

You get feedback. In the moment. From Broadway professionals.

You'll have the opportunity to be heard by Grammy/Emmy Award-winning music producer Paul Bogaev and Pop/R&B performer Tiffany T'zelle—and receive real, practical feedback that you can immediately put into action. One more Broadway pro will be added to the panel.

AUDITION. GET FEEDBACK. GROW. PERFORM.

This is your chance to experience something most performers don't get: A Broadway-level audition where you actually get to know what the people behind the table are looking for.

You'll learn how to:

• Make stronger choices in your audition
• Connect with your material
• Take direction and adjust in the moment
• Understand what makes a performer stand out
• Grow from professional feedback—not just receive a "yes" or "no"

And then comes the really fun part…

There is NO FEE to participate in the NPT Holiday Show,
but you cannot be in the show without this audition

The September 27 event is the audition for the Holiday Show for performers who are not already Broadway or professional-level performers.

That's where NPT's trickle-down mentoring really comes to life. Our professional artists don't just perform with our young and emerging performers—they mentor, model, challenge and inspire them.

You'll learn by being in the room, on the stage, in rehearsal and ultimately performing alongside professionals.

You don't have to commit to the Holiday Show just because you audition. You may just want to participate in the event and its educational feedback. That's Fine! And if you decide you want to be part of the Holiday Show, this is your opportunity.

For non-professionals, September 27 is the only audition for the Holiday Show.
