STRATFORD, CT — Stratford saw 58 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Residential landlords led the way with seven filings, followed by software and IT firms and home remodelers and builders.
Among the new arrivals were Ash Hole Mobile Cigar Co, a smoke shop, Yusma Sweet and fresh bakes, a bakery and Seasoned by Sasha, a quick-service restaurant. All but three organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were a professional LLC and two corporations.
Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a launch. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
