STRATFORD, CT — (From Town of Stratford): Due to the forecast for inclement weather on Sunday, the Town of Stratford and the Stratford Hispanic Heritage Committee announce that the 21st Annual Latin Music Festival will be moved indoors to Stratford High School, 245 King Street, Stratford, on Sunday, Sept. 20.
The festival will take place from 12 noon to 6 p.m. in the Stratford High School gymnasium and will continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an afternoon of live Latin music, folkloric dance, food, arts and crafts, and community vendors.
The festival will feature performances by Orquesta Afinke, Agua Pa Chocolate, Ballet Folklórico Las Américas, and Danza Folklórico Group, along with more than 45 vendors, including food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and community organizations.
The festival was originally scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 13, and was postponed due to last weekend's storm.
