Joseph D. Inman Sr., of Stratford, beloved husband of Patricia Kelly Inman, passed away on Sunday July 31, 2011 in Lord Chamberlain HCC, after a courageous one-year battle with Lung Cancer.
Joe, a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran, was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire to the late Warren and Margurette (Tobin) Inman, and has been a long time area resident. He was a former Lead man for Sikorsky Aircraft. Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to cook, and spend time at Sand Pond in Marlow, NH. He was also a NASCAR enthusiast and was a member of the Milford Bow Hunters Club.
Survivors in addition to his wife Patricia, include his devoted children Randy Inman, of NH, Kelly Inman of Stratford, Joseph Inman Jr., of Stratford, Samantha Carroll of Terryville, and Jesse Inman of Stratford, his siblings Nancy Duffy of NH, John Inman of TN, Mary Sekelsky of CO, and Warren Inman of Southbury, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dog Bea-Girl.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a brother Jeffrey Inman. Funeral services will take place on Thursday August 4th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment with full military honors will be in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
