Kevonna passed away in a car accident in 2007. She worked at the SECC as an after school program counselor and summer program counselor. Kevonna was a wonderful and kind young lady with an awesome love for children. Every year the rodeo is held in collaboration with the Stratford Police Department.

Thanks to the help of Officers Alec Voccola and Officer Frank Sappione children who participate in the summer program as well as children from the South End neighborhood are able to come and get safety information from the Stfd Fire Dept, Stfd. EMS, Stfd. Police Dept. including the K-9 Unit.

Children also are entered into numerous raffles where they can win gift cards and a brand new bike and helmet. Thanks to the continued support of community friends and supporters like the Stratford Rotary Club all of the participants also are provided with lunch. This is a wonderful event we hope to offer for many years to come.
