Arrest Made In Fatal Stratford Shooting: Police
A suspect has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting and police say the investigation is ongoing.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of Andre Pettway, according to police. Pettway, 27, of Bridgeport, was fatally shot on Saturday night in Stratford.
Brandyn Ford, 24, of Stratford, was arrested Monday, May 29, after members of the Stratford Police Department Special Response Team served a warrant at his residence. (To sign up for Stratford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The warrant and arrest are the result of an ongoing investigation into the homicide by the Stratford Police Detective and Patrol Divisions, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Eannotti said Ford was unable to post a $1.5 million bond and was brought to court on Tuesday morning.
Ford was charged with murder, weapon in a motor vehicle, risk of injury to minors, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
