The Art and History of the Tattoo

The Stratford Library will host tattoo artist Lizbeth Anderson in a special program about “The Art and History of the Tattoo” on Sunday, April 19th at 2 pm. Anderson will guide her audience through the significant beauty and history of tattooing with a PowerPoint presentation and a variety of “show and tell” objects. She has been in the tattoo business for 19 years and has taught art history for the past 10 years at Housatonic Community College and Sacred Heart University. The program, held in the Library’s Lovell Room and sponsored by the J.T. Friderichs Memorial fund, is free and open to the public.
