Bank Robbed; Suspect Caught In Stratford: Report

A man was charged in connection with a Bridgeport bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man was charged in connection to a Bridgeport bank robbery Wednesday afternoon, according to The Connecticut Post. Police responded to the TD Bank branch at 4865 Main St. around 2:30 p.m.

Police apprehended a car on I-95 North in Stratford minutes after speaking with bank employees and customers. Richard Davilia, 59, was charged with second-degree robbery.
