Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended at Stratford Train Station: Police
The man is accused of robbing a bank in Stratford, indicating that he was armed, and fled with about $1,000, according to police.
Stratford, CT — Stratford Police apprehended a bank robbery suspect at the Stratford train station on Wednesday.
Stratford Police arrested Scott Taylor, 46, of Wethersfield, at the train station following a bank robbery at the Chase Bank located at 2855 Main Street.
Taylor is accused of entering the bank, indicating that he was armed and demanded money, according to Lt. Frank Eannotti.

Taylor fled the scene with approximately $1,000, Eannotti said.
Officers immediately began to search the area and Taylor was located at the Stratford train station where he was taken into custody.

Police recovered the stolen money and no weapon was found, according to Eannotti.
