Bomb Scare Causes Early Dismissal at Flood Middle School

Stratford police determined the threat contained in a note found in the school was 'not a credible threat.'

has announced that police determined a bomb threat reported at the school today was "not a credible threat," but the school released its students for early dismissal anyway as a precaution.

WFSB-TV reported shortly after noon that a note was discovered in the school indicating a bomb.

The announcement posted on the school's website said students were dismissed at 11:30 a.m. after school administrators decided to err on the side of caution.
