Boothe Memorial Park Christmas Event Details Announced

STRATFORD, CT — The Historic Boothe Homestead at Boothe Memorial Park, 5800 Main St. in Stratford, will be decked out in its finest splendor for tours on Dec. 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Many of the buildings will be beautifully decorated for the holidays. The proceeds will benefit its school program.

The Homestead will be decorated in a Victorian theme. There will be 3-foot decorated trees available for auction. The hours are: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2; from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, and from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5.

The cost is $5. Children under 12 are admitted for free.

Santa will be in attendance in the visitor center for pictures on Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Putney Chapel will be open and decorated on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Stratford Veterans Museum will be open the same hours as the Homestead.
