Bunnell Coach Calls It A Career

After leading the Bunnell baseball team to a 218-115 record over the last 16 years, coach Scott Szturma has announced his retirement.

Szturma told Henry Chisholm of GameTimeCT that he made the decision to step down so he could watch his two sons play baseball.

“It’s time to be dad,” Szturma said.

Bunnell’s season came to an end with a loss to East Lyme in the in the Class L semifinals last week.
