Bunnell Coach Steps Down After 11 Seasons
The coach has officially announced his decision to resign.

STRATFORD, CT — Bunnell boys’ soccer coach Jim Ginand has stepped down after 11 seasons, GameTimeCT.com reports.
Joe Morelli of GameTimeCT reports Ginand, 37, knew entering the season that 2017 would probably be his last after his second child was born but made the decision official last week.
Ginand, who is also a math teacher at Bunnell, went a combined 83-93-25 during his tenure and led the Bulldogs to the Class L state championship in 2011. Bunnell was seeded 36th in this year’s tournament and beat Torrington 5-4 in the qualifying round before falling to No. 4 Masuk 3-0 in the first round.
