Bunnell Student Named ‘Heart Of Arts’ Recipient

The Bunnell High School senior was recently selected as the 2023 Connecticut Association of School's Heart of the Arts recipient.

STRATFORD, CT — (Contributed): Bunnell High School recently announced that senior Riley Cook-Jimenez has been selected as the 2023 Connecticut Association of School’s Heart of the Arts recipient.

The award recognizes a student involved in high school performing or visual arts programs who exemplify the core values of education-based activities – integrity, citizenship, courage, good character - and who has demonstrated exemplary ‘heart,’ overcome adversity, and exceeded normal expectations in assisting others within the school community.

Riley is an integral member of Bunnell's Marching Band, Concert Band, and Indoor Drumline - she also played a key role in the filming of Disney's Chang Can Dunk last fall. Riley will be recognized at the CAS Arts Awards Banquet at the Aqua Turf Club on April 4.
