Bunnell's Auten Signs National Letter of Intent
Bunnell senior Corey Auten has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend and play lacrosse for Post University.
STRATFORD, CT — Bunnell senior Corey Auten recently signed his official National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse for Post University.
Auten, who was a captain for the Bulldogs this season, was recruited by Post coach Derek Marks.
Auten began playing lacrosse for Sterling House at 10 years old and started playing for the Whalers travel league out of Yale in the summer of sixth grade.

Fairfield University assistant coach Andrew Whitely left the Whalers to start Bucks lacrosse out of Fairfield University and Auten followed and played for them for five years.
Auten is a four-year varsity player for Bunnell and received honorable mention for All-SWC in his freshman and sophomore years.

Auten was named to the All-SWC Division II team as a junior.
He helped lead the Bulldogs to their first-ever SWC Division II championship win and was named MVP of the SWC Tournament.
Auten is looking forward to playing college lacrosse while majoring in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security/Emergency Management.
