Car Crash Closes Stratford Diner
A Stratford eatery was closed Saturday after a utility pole was downed outside the diner, the business said in a Facebook post.
STRATFORD, CT — A car crash forced a Stratford restaurant to temporarily close during the weekend. Overnight Friday into Saturday a vehicle downed a utility pole outside the Blue Sky Diner at 273 Ferry Blvd., according to a Facebook post from the restaurant. The diner lost power and was closed Saturday, but electricity returned later in the day and by about 7 p.m. the eatery had plans to reopen Sunday.
