Car Crashes Into Gas Pumps, Catches Fire In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A car crashed into the gas pumps and caught fire at a Citgo gas station in Stratford on Saturday, according to fire officials.

Crews responded to the gas station on Main Street on Saturday evening.

“Responding units quickly extinguished the fire with some extension to the pumps,” officials wrote in a post on the Stratford Professional Firefighters IAFF 998 union’s Facebook page. “Stratford EMS evaluated the occupants for minor injuries.”
