Charlotte Feeney, age 77, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Hubert Feeney, passed on March 16th, 2026
Charlotte enjoyed spending time outdoors, dancing, fashion, and above all else she cherished her family deeply.

Charlotte Feeney, age 77, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Hubert Feeney, passed away on March 16th, 2026. Born on August 9th, 1948 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late John E. Hoey Sr. and Virginia Ann Hoey.
Charlotte attended Milford High School and later pursued coursework in accounting, building a foundation that would serve her throughout her professional life. Charlotte began her career as a hostess at the Rustic Grotto and later worked as an insurance analyst at Equitable Insurance, where she was known for her diligence and reliability.
Outside of work, Charlotte found her greatest joy outdoors. She loved spending time at Hidden Acres Campground, often visiting her permanent camper there to relax and connect with nature. Whether it was a quiet morning or an evening under the stars, she cherished every moment spent outside. Charlotte was lively and full of spirit, often the first to turn on the music and get everyone dancing. She had a love for fashion and enjoyed dressing up, always bringing her sense of style and joy wherever she went.

Family was at the heart of Charlotte’s life. She treasured time with her loved ones and played a special role in helping raise her grandchildren. Known affectionately as “Nana,” she shared a unique and meaningful bond with each of them, creating memories that will be carried forward for generations.
Charlotte is survived by her children Lisa Crapio (partner James Gillespy) and Lanette Iacobelli (husband Frank). As well as her grandchildren Michael Rodriguez, Mariah Rodriguez (husband Roberto), Gina Gillespy, and Frank Iacobelli. Her great grandchildren: Theo Rodriguez and Marco Chea. Siblings: Charles Chuck Hoey and Howie Hoey. In addition to her beloved husband, she is predeceased by her siblings Mary, John Jr., Judy, and Gina.
