STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford couple was arrested after police say their 2-year-old child was found wandering the streets at 6:30 a.m. by a jogger on Oct. 6. The child was taken in by a neighbor and kept safe until police responded, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Thomas Yemm, 62, and Wendy Canfield, 51, were both arrested for the incident.

“According to neighbors interviewed this was not the first time the child had wandered off,” Eannotti said in a press release.
