Connecticut Man Strikes Ex-Wife After She Took Away His Beer

A Bridgeport man is accused of striking his ex-wife in the face because she threw away his beer, numerous media outlets are reporting.

Melvin Gonzalez, 49, of Park Street, allegedly struck his ex-wife in the face after she took away his beer, WFSB 3 reports.

Gonzalez came home from work, got into an argument with his ex-wife, and demanded his beer. But the ex-wife threw them away because Gonzalez allegedly gets angry when he drinks, WFSB reports.

After learning the beer was gone, he allegedly struck her in the face and left the house, WFSB reports.
