Contract Extension Approved For Stratford Schools Superintendent

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Board of Education this week approved a contract extension for first-year Superintendent Uyi Osunde by a 4-3 vote, according to the Connecticut Post.

Terms of the contract, which was approved after board members met in executive session for more than 90 minutes, weren’t immediately disclosed, according to the Post.

The Post reports Osunde’s initial three-year contract said the school board, at Osunde’s request, could vote on whether to offer him a new contract before the end of the first year.
