Lanes Reopen On I-95, Merritt Parkway In Stratford: UPDATE

UPDATE: All lanes have reopened on I-95 North and Route 15 North in Stratford as the accident scenes have been cleared, according to the DOT.

STRATFORD, CT — Two multi-vehicle accidents are slowing traffic on both I-95 and Route 15 in Stratford. I-95 North is congested between Exits 27A and 31 due to a multi-vehicle accident between Exits 30 and 31 in Stratford, according to the state DOT. The left and right lanes are closed.

Two lanes are also closed on Route 15 North between Exits 53 and 54 due to a multi-vehicle accident. The right and center lanes are closed. That accident was reported at 3:15 p.m. and the estimated duration of the incident is two hours or less, according to the DOT.

UPDATE: The accident scene on I-95 North has been cleared and both lanes have reopened, according to the DOT.
