Cricket Car Hop Reopens This Week In Stratford

The popular Stratford hot dog stand is reopening in a new location.

STRATFORD, CT — The long-awaited opening of the new Cricket Car Hop in Stratford will finally take place this week. Fans of the popular Stratford hot dog stand have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the new location after the original Cricket closed in 2004.

The new Cricket Car Hop will officially celebrate its grand reopening at the new location at 900 Access Road at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 1. (To sign up for Stratford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

A soft opening for former employees was celebrated on Wednesday, according to the Connecticut Post.

The new Cricket Car Hop is owned by Stacey DiCostanzo, who started working at the original Cricket in 1980 when she was 15, according to the Post.
