Dog Bites 81-Year-Old Jogger in Stratford
The Stratford Animal Control is asking for the public's assistance in locating the dog's owner.

An 81-year-old man was bit by a dog while jogging on Wednesday morning and Stratford Animal Control officers are asking for the public’s help with contacting the dog’s owner.
The bite occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on East Main Street about halfway between Main Street and Wilcoxson Avenue. The man received minor puncture wounds to the right forearm and was treated and released from medical care.
The dog ran off and is described as a medium size collie type dog with long orange and white fur.

Animal Control would like to speak to the owner of the dog to verify that the dog is current on its rabies vaccinations so that the man does not have to receive post-exposure rabies treatments.
