Dunkin’ Donuts Manager in Stratford Contests Sexual Assault Charge
The man, 52, was recently arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted a 19-year-old female employee at a Dunkin' Donuts.

STRATFORD, CT — The manager of a Dunkin’ Donuts in Stratford accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old female employee is contesting the claim, according to the Connecticut Post.
Maher Mahairi, 52, of Fairfield, was arrested Jan. 20 after the woman accused him of making sexual comments toward her and later grabbing her from behind at the Dunkin Donuts on Honeyspot Road, according to police.
During his arraignment on Friday, Mahairi’s attorney objected to an order that barred him from further contact with the employee, saying that they are “challenging the veracity of the complaint,” reports Daniel Tepfer of the Post.

Another employee told police that he heard the young woman scream and she told him Mahairi had grabbed her behind, police said in a press release last week.
Mahairi denied grabbing the woman and police said when they later checked the video surveillance system there was a gap in the video for the time the woman claimed she was assaulted, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
