The Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, will hold its annual Pancake Day Saturday, May 12 from 7:30 to Noon. Tickets are priced at $8 and will be available the day of the event. Children 6 and under eat for free. For those super hungry seconds are "on the house". The menu includes pancakes, French toast, sausage or bacon, juice, and coffee or tea. If you'd like real Vermont maple syrup add $1 to the cost. In addition there will be a bake table and a plant sale. The church's Thrift Shop (Heaven Sent) will be open. The Appalachian Service Project group will be holding a tag sale in conjunction with the event.
