Exciting News—New Pastor Announcement for Lordship Community Church

Lordship Community Church, 179 Prospect Drive, Stratford, is pleased to announce the appointment of The Rev. Jeffrey B. Lukens as Pastor.  Rev. Jeff led his first worship service at Lordship Community Church on Sunday, June 16.  Jeff is a Connecticut native and lifelong member of the United Church of Christ.  He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, and a M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, MA.

Jeff has served as the Youth Minister at the United Church of Christ in Southbury, and as a Resident Chaplain at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  Most recently, he served as the Associate Pastor at St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Lordship Community Church is excited to have Jeff join the congregation as its new Pastor.  The congregation looks forward to Jeff sharing his knowledge and experiences with the church and also with the surrounding community.  Jeff has a deep seeded love for the church of Jesus Christ and feels called to help shepherd Lordship Community Church into a relevant institution in the 21st century.

Please help Lordship Community Church welcome the Lukens family to the community.  All are invited to greet Rev. Lukens and attend worship at Lordship Community Church at its Sunday service.  Lordship Community Church holds its Sunday service at 10:00 a.m. on June 23 and June 30, and then 9:30 a.m. from July 7 through September 1.  Come grow with Lordship Community Church and join in its new spiritual journey!
