Fire Heavily Damages Strip Club In Stratford: Report
Two fires were reported at the café within a 12-hour period over the weekend.
STRATFORD, CT — The Rumours Café strip club on Barnum Avenue sustained “significant damage” in an early morning fire on Sunday, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports firefighters were on the scene of the one-alarm fire at about 8:40 a.m., less than 12 hours after responding to the café Saturday night for a small fire behind a locker in a changing room.
No injuries were reported in either fire. Officials believe the most recent fire was caused by faulty wires in the heating system, according to the Post.
