'Grand Budapest Hotel' Screens at Stratford Library
Monday Matinee series continues on November 10.

The Stratford Library’s “Monday Matinees” series continues with a screening of the popular 2014 comedy, The Grand Budapest Hotel on November 10. The series presents recent, popular films on monthly Monday afternoons at noon. The film showings are free and open to the public.
The adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous hotel from the fictional Republic of Zubrowka between the first and second World Wars, and Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend, head this latest wacky comedy from Wes Anderson. The all-star cast includes Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Tom Wilkinson, Owen Wilson, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody and Willem Dafoe. The film is rated R and runs 100 minutes.
Movies in the “Monday Matinees” series are shown uncut on widescreen in the Stratford Library’s Lovell Room. The fall series of “Monday Matinees” will continue on December 8 with Jersey Boys, based on the Broadway musical and directed by Clint Eastwood.
