The Grocery Items Stratford Had Delivered Most In 2021: Instacart

YOUR PATCH — As the coronavirus pandemic continues in the United States, many people have turned to online services for grocery pickup and delivery, including in Stratford.

Instacart, a grocery delivery service, released some year-end statistics showing what people across the United States ordered in 2021. Nearly half of all Americans reported they had groceries delivered to their house during the pandemic, a survey by the company said.

Neighbors in Stratford ordered chicken bacon, Italian sausage, wet cat food, plantains, and ground chicken most this year. Stratford's grocery delivery preferences are most similar to those in Springfield, MA.

Also, Stratford ordered enough bananas to create a stack as high as 89 Statues of Liberty.

The preferred ice cream flavors in Stratford were strawberry, cookies and cream, cookie dough, cherry, and mint chip. Nationwide, the most popular ice cream flavors were cookies and cream, cookie dough, strawberry, mint chip, and chocolate peanut butter, Instacart said.

Across the U.S., there was an increase in orders for gemelli pasta, cereal bars, and prepared sandwiches and wraps. Orders declined for pork center roasts, wax-covered cheese, and yeast.
