House Cleaners Combat Coronavirus One Spray Bottle at a Time
Stratford's Heavenly House Cleaners, a company serving clients across CT, is keeping spaces virus-free with safe cleaning practices.

STRATFORD, CT—With the mass hysteria surrounding the coronavirus outbreak across the country, and one case recently reported in Stratford, one local cleaning company is doing all they can to help calm the nerves of their clients while keeping them safe and protected. Heavenly House Cleaners offers complete house and business cleaning for private individuals, churches, and organizations and has seen an uptick in calls over the past several weeks since the news broke about the rapidly spreading illness.
“With the ongoing spread of the virus and everything they’re seeing in the news, my clients are understandably concerned and we’ve been getting more calls than normal,” said Xiomara Perez, owner of the company. “But we’re keeping up with the demand and sending in teams to help ease their stress and keep their environments safe,” she continued.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus can remain on surfaces for as long as three days and a person can get infected by touching the surface and then touching their eyes, nose and/or mouth.

“Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets. It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads,” the CDC stated on their website.
By disinfecting their client’s homes and offices with antibacterial cleaning products, Heavenly House Cleaners is helping to reduce that risk.

Connecticut currently has four known cases of the coronavirus, according to the CDC, with many schools, municipalities and libraries closing as a result.
“We’re doing all that we can to keep our clients’ spaces clean and disinfected and all of our trained, professional staff are practicing safe hand-washing and disinfecting procedures,” Perez stated.
