STRATFORD, CT — Planned work on Interstate 95 by the State Department of Transportation will begin in both directions Sept. 11 and conclude Oct. 11, according to a news release from the mayor's office. Closures are expected between Ferry Boulevard (Exit 33) and Plains Road (Exit 36), and will be done mainly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays. The work will repair the bridge passing over the Metro-North railroad tracks.
