ID Released for Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Stratford

The woman was crossing the street when she was struck earlier this week, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — Police have identified Carmen Flores-Carrillo, 64, as the woman who died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Stratford on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on Longbrook Avenue near Paterson Avenue, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Eannotti said the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when she was struck. She was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The incident is still under investigation and Eannotti said there is nothing further to report at this time.
