Local Artists Sought In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — With Earth Day approaching, the Stratford Arts Commission is looking to feature the work of local artists on Stratford’s environmentally friendly BigBelly solar compacting trash receptacles placed throughout town. The submitted artwork should be a photo, painting or other image featuring nature in some way.

“We want to bring attention to our focus on the environment here in Stratford this Earth Day,” Mayor Laura R. Hoydick said. “Stratford is committed to promoting recycling, sustainable energy and conservation, and we want our local artists to help us promote that commitment. I hope that many of the talented artist we have here Stratford will join us in this effort.”

Submissions should be by digital file no smaller than 11x17 inches.
