Mail Carrier Accused of Sexually Assaulting Co-Worker at Her Home: Stratford Police (UPDATED)
Officers responded to the home when the victim was able to activate a panic alarm, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — A Trumbull man is accused of sexually assaulting a co-worker at her home, according to Stratford Police.
Stratford Police responded to the home on Nov. 11 when the victim was able to activate a panic alarm, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Upon arrival, Dennis Hwang was seen exiting the home and was detained by responding officers without incident, according to Eannotti.

The Connecticut Post reports Hwang, 31, is a mail carrier who works out of the Westport post office. He showed up at the victim’s house uninvited and brought a cup of hot chocolate and a bagel, according to the Post.
Once inside the house, Hwang is accused of pushing the woman into a corner and throwing her down onto a couch and sexually assaulting her, according to the Post.

Hwang was arrested on charges of third-degree sexual assault and criminal trespass. He was held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.
