Man Arrested, Cocaine Seized After Multi-Town Drug Investigation: Stratford PD
The man was taken into custody after an attempted motor vehicle stop that ended after a pursuit, according to police.
STRATFORD, CT — A man was recently arrested following a multi-town drug investigation, according to Stratford police.
The Stratford Police Department’s Narcotics, Vice and Intelligence Unit, assisted the DEA Bridgeport HIDTA Task Force with the execution of multiple search warrants in Stratford, Milford and Fairfield on March 31, according to Stratford Police Capt. Jerry Pinto.
Pinto said an attempted motor vehicle stop in Stratford, turned into a pursuit that ended in Shelton without injury or damage.

The search warrants were then executed in Milford and Fairfield, according to Pinto.
Pinto said 1.02800 kilograms of cocaine were seized following the execution of the search warrants.

Vladimir Ayala, 53, was arrested on charges of illegal sale of cocaine, first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless operation, and engaging police in pursuit.
He was released after posting a $75,000 bond with a court date of May 6, according to state judicial records.
