Man Charged In Armed Robberies Of AT&T, Dunkin' In Stratford: Report
The suspect was hospitalized after crashing in the rented getaway car in New Jersey, according to a report.
STRATFORD, CT — A New York man has been arrested in connection with the armed robberies of an AT&T store and a Dunkin’ Donuts that happened on the same day last October in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the suspect, 23-year-old Jayson Stovall, was hospitalized after getting into a crash in New Jersey with a rented getaway car. He was extradited from New Jersey and arrested on Jan. 10, according to the Post.
Stovall was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count each of fourth-degree larceny and carrying a pistol without a permit. He was being held in lieu of a $175,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 23, according to state judicial records.
