Man Charged In Fatal Crash In Stratford: Report
The man is accused of operating under the influence at more than twice the legal limit, according to a report.
STRATFORD, CT — A Derby man has been arrested in connection with a crash that killed a Monroe grandfather last October, according to the Connecticut Post.
Dennis Kimball, 47, was charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, reckless driving and speeding. He was released after posting a $200,000 bond with a court date of March 24, according to state judicial records.
The Post reported Otilio Filho, 64, was killed in a crash involving a Honda sedan and a Ford pickup truck at the intersection of Route 110 and Warner Hill Road on Oct. 13.

Police said Kimball, who was driving the pickup truck, has two prior drunk driving arrests and is accused of failing a field sobriety test and operating with a blood/alcohol level of .191, more than twice the legal limit, according to the Post.
