Man Killed By Train in Stratford Identified

Authorities have identified the man who was struck and killed by a Boston-bound Amtrak train Wednesday as Daniel McCool, 38, of Milford, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports that the death has been ruled a suicide.

McCool, who had been reported missing by Milford Police on Sept. 17, was struck by the train at 8:27 a.m. on Wednesday at the Stratford train station on Main Street.

The Amtrak train was headed from Washington, D.C. to Boston.
