Man Wanted In Serious Assault At Laundromat: Stratford Police

A victim was seriously injured after being assaulted "without provocation" inside the laundromat, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — Police are asking for help with information in connection with an assault inside a laundromat last month in Stratford.

Police responded around 9 p.m. on Jan. 7 to the laundromat at 1888 Main Street in Stratford.

A victim was inside the business when he was “seriously assaulted without provocation” by the pictured suspect, police wrote in a post on Facebook.

The victim suffered significant injuries, according to police.

Police said the suspect and a female accomplice left in a Honda. Detectives have identified a suspect, according to police.

Several witnesses appear to be inside the laundromat before and during the assault, police said.

Detectives are asking any witnesses to Det. Policano at 203-726-0275 by phone or text. All witnesses will remain confidential, police said.
