Man Wanted In Stratford Shooting: Police
The man, who police said is "armed and dangerous," is accused of firing multiple shots at two people and striking a home in Stratford.
STRATFORD, CT — Police are asking for help with finding a man who is wanted in connection with a shooting in Stratford last month, according to officials.
Jeshawn Rogers, 25, of Bridgeport, is accused of shooting at two people multiple times on Masarik Avenue in Stratford on Aug. 22, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Eannotti said the gunshots struck a residential home on Orange Street that was occupied at the time. After a thorough investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Rogers along with a search warrant for his apartment at 340 Palisade Ave. in Bridgeport, according to Eannotti.

The Stratford Police Detective Bureau, along with the Bridgeport Tactical Narcotics Team, executed the search warrant at Roger’s apartment on Tuesday. Detectives seized a Glock 19 9mm with a high-capacity magazine, ammunition, and a large amount of marijuana packaged for street sales, according to Eannotti.
Eannotti said Rogers is “considered to be armed and dangerous and has an active arrest warrant.”

There were several witnesses to the shooting, and investigators are asking anyone with more information to contact Detective Torres or Detective Policano at 203-726-0275. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Stratford Police Department or the detectives and/or TIPS411.
