Microsoft Word Class at Stratford Library

Career Coach offering class on Mon, March 30

The CTWorks Career Coach, a career center on wheels, will visit the Stratford Library on Monday, March 30 for a Microsoft Word Class (Part 1: 10 am-noon, Part 2: 1-3pm). Registration is required and can be completed using the Library’s online calendar.

The Career Coach delivers free services to low-wage workers and job seekers in Southwestern Connecticut who are unable to get the services at local career centers due to lack of transportation, childcare or employment schedules. The Career Coach features computer workstations and Internet access in a classroom setting, an interview room, and an ADA-compliant lift and workstation for persons with disabilities. These workshops are free and open to job seekers 16 year of age or older. Basic computer skills are helpful but not required.

For further information call the library’s Adult Services Department at 203.385.4164 or visit the library website.
