Mother Arrested For Berating Student On School Bus: Stratford PD

A Stratford woman is accused of boarding a bus and berating a student for an incident that involved her daughter the previous day.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford woman is accused of boarding a school bus and berating a fifth-grade student who had wiped spit on her daughter’s backpack the previous day, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Tashika Smart, 28, was charged for Friday’s incident in which she yelled at the boy and attempted to approach him but was blocked by the bus driver.

Police told the Post that on Thursday a kindergarten student had spit on a fifth-grade student, who then wiped the spittle on Smart’s daughter’s backpack and Smart got on the bus on Friday wanting to know who did it.
