Nancy E. Distefano Keller, 53; Stratford Resident's Smile Could Light Up Any Room

Loving mother, daughter, sister and friend remembered as someone who generously shared her passion for life.

Nancy E. Distefano Keller, 53, of Stratford, died suddenly on Sunday, February 8, 2015. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of Virginia Picarazzi and Joseph Albert Distefano. Nancy was a Medical Aesthetician for over 27 years and was currently enrolled at Branford Hall pursuing certification as a medical assistant.

Nancy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who generously shared her passion for life and whose laughing face lit up any room. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother Virginia of Fairfield and her father Joseph and his wife Marie of Brewster, NY, survivors include her loving son, Robert J. Keller of Denver, CO, a brother, Joseph A. Distefano Jr., and his wife Tracy of Trumbull, a sister, Donna Distefano-Thomas and her husband Sean of New York City, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford on Friday February 13, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
