New Entertainment Venue Featuring Restaurant, Bar Coming To Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A new entertainment venue featuring an arcade, restaurant, and bar experience is coming to the site that was previously eyed for an IHOP location in Stratford, The Connecticut Scoop reported.

Deep 6 Arcade is planning on opening in “early summer 2026” at 2505 Main St. in Stratford, according to its website. Deep 6 Arcade will be located directly across from the Stratford Train Station inside Station House Square.

Plans for a new IHOP restaurant were announced in November 2023 with a targeted spring 2024 opening. The project was long delayed, and the IHOP never opened. The site was also the former home of the Ole Dog Tavern.

Deep 6 Arcade was founded by “people who love restoring classic arcade machines,” according to a post on its website.

“For us, bringing these games back to life feels like preserving a small piece of history,” the post reads. “Over the past five years we’ve repaired, serviced, and restored arcade machines for amusement parks, private collectors and traditional arcades all around the world. Now we’re bringing many of our games out of our workshops and into one place where everyone can enjoy.

“Deep 6 Arcade will be a restaurant, arcade, and bar experience built around classic games that defined generations.”

Some of the classic games that could be featured at Deep 6 Arcade include:

• Tempest
• Pac-Man
• Galaga
• Skee-Ball
• Paragon (Pinball)
• Bride of Pinbot (Pinball)

“…and many more,” according to the post. “Deep 6 Arcade is not your typical arcade.”

Deep 6 Arcade will also feature live music, arcade game sales/repair, a private room available for parties and special events, along with a “restaurant and bar to keep the night going,” according to its site.
