“Thanks to a generous donation from the Stratford Rotary, we can help qualified students participate in our exciting theatre camp and professional show this summer,” said Kristin Huffman, Broadway veteran and Artistic Director of New Paradigm Theatre.
This summer’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will bring together Broadway professionals, experienced teaching artists, local adult performers, and young students in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Participants will work “elbow-to-elbow” with industry professionals, gaining firsthand insight into the world of professional theatre while building confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Jennifer Bencivego shared her personal perspective on the program’s impact:
“As both an educator and a mom, I’ve seen firsthand how special this program is. It brings Broadway professionals together with local students in a way that feels both inspiring and deeply personal. My daughter has been part of the program for the past two years, and I can honestly say I’ve watched her grow—not just as a performer, but as a person. She’s gone from a quiet, unsure 10-year-old to a confident (almost!) 13-year-old who isn’t afraid to take risks, find her voice, and stand tall. As a principal, I know how rare and powerful those kinds of experiences are—and as a mom, I’m just incredibly grateful.”
New Paradigm Theatre is committed to creating equitable access to the arts while fostering the next generation of performers and leaders through mentorship, professional collaboration, and community engagement.
Scholarship applications are now open for qualifying Stratford families.
