New Stratford Pizzeria Serving Free Slices Wednesday

STRATFORD, CT — A new Stratford pizzeria is serving up a slice on the house this Wednesday. Za Pizza, which opened in mid-February, announced the deal on its Facebook page. Customers will each receive one free cheese slice from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the eatery, 1345 Barnum Ave.

Za Pizza offers an array of pies, with names like the Clam Bake (fresh clams, mozzarella, Romano and garlic) and the Buff Chick (chicken, mozzarella, gorgonzola, hot sauce and celery bits). The pizzeria also serves appetizers, salads, sandwiches and calzones.
