STRATFORD, CT — Joshua Broekstra was sworn in as Stratford’s new Town Clerk on Friday, according to Mayor David Chess.
Before joining Stratford, Chess said Broekstra served as New Britain’s Deputy Town and City Clerk, as well as Meriden's Assistant City Clerk.
“Welcome to Stratford, Joshua. We are happy you’re here,” Chess wrote in a post on Facebook. “I also want to thank Susan Pawluk, our outgoing Town Clerk, who is retiring after nearly 20 years of service to the Town of Stratford.
