Obituary: Alan Thomas Pistey, 74, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Pistey Funeral Home): Alan Thomas Pistey, 74, of Stratford, husband of the late Carolyn Pistey, passed away at home on December 1, 2022.

Alan was born in Bridgeport to the late Alexander and Mary (Basko) Pistey. Alan was a respected policeman of the Trumbull PD, serving as a communications office for over 31 years.

Alan is survived by his brother, Mark Pistey and his wife, Linda, of Boynton Beach, FL; step-son, David John Morrissey of Milford; grandchildren, Megan and David Morrissey; great-grandson, Mason Guy; nephew, Ryan Pistey and his wife Ashley, of Statesboro GA; niece, Jaclyn Hall and her husband Kyle Hall of Boynton Beach, FL; and great-nephew, Liam Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by step-sons, Ronald and Kevin Morrissey.

Friends are invited to attend the prayer service on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Friends may call that morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
