Obituary: Anne M. Lumley, 78, of Stratford

Anne M. Lumley, 78, of Stratford, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shelton. She was the widow of Vern Lumley.

Anne was born in Bridgeport, to the late Ellsworth and Mary Goglin. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and the beach. Anne had a great love for music and enjoyed playing the piano.

Survivors include two daughters, Shellene (Stephen, Sr.) Conder of Milford, Jennifer (David) Hluska of Shelton and Michael (Michele) Lumley of Ansonia; eight grandchildren, Stephen, Jr., Daniel, Kara, Krista, Jessica, Logan, Hannah and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Kiely, Brooklyn and Kaitelyn; five sisters, Cynthia Peluso, Elsie Bernaski, Theresa Shanley, Katherine Brown and Pauline Pilato; one brother, Albert Goglin; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Lumley; two sisters, Barbara Colangelo and Josephine Maughn; and two brothers, Otto Goglin and Ellsworth Goglin.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 70 New Canaan Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.
